Areas of Focus

Trauma Treatment Trauma transforms us, altering our brains, bodies, and environments. We naturally respond in various ways, which can disrupt our functioning, strain relationships, and diminish our overall quality of life. The pain and effects from trauma can be isolating, often lingering in the background and foreground. You may experience intrusive memories, numbness, reactiveness, difficulties with connection, trust, confidence, and staying present.

Anxiety and Depression Treatment Anxiety and depression can feel like being stuck in a constant battle with your own mind. With anxiety, it's like your brain is always in overdrive, making you worry about everything, big or small. You might feel restless, tense, or that your mind just won't shut off. Anxiety includes: OCD, social anxiety, panic, phobias, anticipation. Depression can make things feel heavy and exhausting. You might lose interest in things you used to enjoy, feel hopeless, or have a hard time finding the motivation to do even the simplest tasks. Both anxiety and depression can make it hard to get through the day and can leave you feeling isolated and drained.

Interpersonal Relationships Interpersonal relationship stress is when dealing with other people starts to feel really tough. It might be conflicts with friends, family, or partners that leave you feeling drained and frustrated. You might argue a lot, misunderstand each other, or feel like you're not being heard or appreciated. This kind of stress can make you feel on edge and anxious, and it can even spill over into other parts of your life, making everything seem a bit more overwhelming.

Life Transitions and Stress Life transitions and stress happen when you're going through big changes, like starting a new job, moving to a new place, or ending a relationship. These changes can be exciting but also really stressful because they shake up your routine and force you to adapt quickly. You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, unprepared or uncertain about the future. Change, whether good or bad, can sometimes feel like you're just trying to keep your head above water while everything around you is shifting.
